Cynthia (Cindy) Kelley is an experienced attorney with a focus on public safety retirement benefits, subrogation and third party liability matters and review of Qualified Domestic Relations Orders. With over 14 years of experience with Public Safety clients, she has established herself as a trusted advocate for local police and fire retirement boards across the state of Arizona.
Cindy represents a diverse range of clients, including large and small jurisdictions’ police and fire departments and fire districts throughout Arizona. She is dedicated to navigating the complex landscape of public safety retirement benefits, ensuring that her clients receive the guidance and representation they need to secure their futures. Cindy oversees monthly Local Board meetings for her clients and ensures they are adhering to the Arizona Open Meeting Law.
In addition to her work with public safety retirement benefits, Cindy maintains an active family law practice. She assists clients in various family law matters, including marriage dissolutions, legal separations, child support, paternity cases, relocation issues, retirement issues, and post-decree matters. Her compassionate approach and unwavering commitment to her clients make her a valuable asset in even the most challenging family law cases.
Cindy earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Arizona State College of Law (now Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law) in 1988. Prior to law school, she graduated cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. With her strong educational background and extensive legal experience, Cindy is equipped to provide comprehensive and effective legal representation to her clients.
Cindy is admitted to practice law in Arizona and is a member of the Arizona State Bar and the Maricopa County State Bar Association. She is admitted to U.S. District Court, District of Arizona, 2013.
