Sara Wahlin's practice includes criminal defense, personal injury and ERISA law.
Sara assists in various areas of law, with a focus on assisting multi-employer health, defined benefit, and defined contribution plans on compliance with ERISA, Taft-Hartley and the Affordable Care Act. Sara has assisted clients through investigations by the Department of Labor and regularly works on trust agreements, reviewing complex investment documents, amending plan documents, and negotiating contracts with various vendors.
Sara additionally has experience drafting contracts, including independent contractor agreements and trust agreements, and has experience drafting policies for employers, including sexual harassment policies and alcohol and substance use policies. Sara also works periodically on commercial litigation matters, personal injury matters, and other civil litigation matters.
Sara worked as an extern for the now retired Arizona Presiding Disciplinary Judge, the Honorable William O’Neil during her last year of law school. She joined Ryan Rapp Pacheco & Kelley in 2019.
